Scene: It’s Sunday afternoon in a downtown condominium in Toronto. The elevator scoots us to the penthouse and we’re soon drinking beer and watching the final laps of a NASCAR race in David Clayton-Thomas’ suite. Yes, we’re ready to rehearse. It’s so wonderful to have developed such familiarity with such a huge Canadian musical icon, and once again a great pleasure to share the stage with him at the SING! festival at the Glenn Gould Theatre in Toronto.
