We started off the year performing a joint concert with Toronto’s own NewChoir. Their rock’n’roll repertoire together with our jazz stylings worked well together and we hope to do this again soon!
The question we always get asked when we head to the East Coast. As always it was a blast to return to PEI and New Brunswick. We had a great time performing for appreciative public audiences and look forward to returning soon. Special thanks to Sylvia and Ron Sampson for once[…]
It’s been a few years since Cadence released a full length studio album, but we are still recording and have some unreleased singles ‘in the can’ (more on that in the new year). We’ve also collaborated with various artists over the years and this past summer we did just that[…]

Last Saturday night in Toronto, we once again had the pleasure of performing with the Canadian music icon David Clayton-Thomas in the TD Jazz Festival at Nathan Philips Square. It was a perfect summer night, the band was hot and we sang to a receptive and appreciative crowd. Suffice to[…]
Over the years Cadence has done some pretty interesting gigs: from singing in a refrigerator, to hanging out with 6 month old Bengal Tiger cubs, to singing while leading a conga line around a convention centre. However this gig takes the cake! A few weeks ago, Cadence sang our original song[…]
If you know anything about vocal music, you know the name Take 6. With twelve studio recordings, these multi-Grammy winners have been setting the a cappella bar high for over three decades. It was a dream come true to open for them at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts a few[…]
